Mission - Bridging the gap between deep learning and clinical physiology to design intelligent Cancer diagnostic pipelines and adaptive neuro-prosthetics that solve critical sensory and diagnostic voids in clinical care.

 

I am a researcher and developer based in Portland, Oregon, focused on the intersection of artificial intelligence and medicine. Currently a student at Jesuit High School (Class of 2028), I build machine learning models and hardware systems that address challenging problems in human health.

My work spans developing bionic limbs with neuromorphic feedback systems, which earned the Outstanding Innovation Award from the US Air Force (2026 NWSE), to training Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs) to predict prenatal Congenital Heart Defects (CHDs).

Beyond academic research, I active contribute to the healthcare space as a clinical shadow in Cardiology at Providence St. Vincent Hospital, an OHSU Patient Guide, and the state-wide American Heart Association (AHA) Teen of Impact Winner and Caretaker of the Torch (2026). Through these roles, I aim to merge engineering with direct clinical empathy.​​

Education & Experience 

American Heart Association (AHA) — Caretaker of the Torch & Oregon Teen of Impact Winner

State-Level Leadership & Cardiovascular Health Advocacy | April 2026 – Present

  • Headline Summary: Selected as the 2026 Oregon Teen of Impact Winner and Caretaker of the Torch to lead statewide cardiovascular health advocacy, preventive education, and youth mobilization.

  • Key Achievements & Impact:

    • Spearheaded statewide awareness campaigns on early cardiovascular disease prevention, lifestyle interventions, and hands-on compression-only CPR education.

    • Mobilized local youth volunteers and orchestrated community fundraising initiatives supporting pediatric cardiology research and underserved health programs.

    • Served as an ambassador bridging youth outreach with clinical cardiac advocacy to expand health literacy across Oregon schools.

 

Northwell Health — Research Scholar

  • Headline Summary: Conducted focused translational research in hematopathology, investigating diagnostic biomarkers, hematologic malignancies, and automated diagnostic workflows.

Northwell Health — Transplant Surgery Clinical Shadowing

Abdominal & Solid Organ Transplant Service | Summer 2026 | ~60 Clinical Hours

  • Headline Summary: Completed ~60 hours of surgical shadowing in high-acuity solid organ transplantation, observing complex organ procurements, recipient revascularization, and multidisciplinary perioperative management.

  • Key Achievements & Impact:​

    • Participated in multidisciplinary pre-transplant selection committees and post-operative ICU rounds, gaining firsthand insight into immunosuppression protocols and graft survival analytics.

    • Deepened clinical understanding of organ allocation ethics, ischemic reperfusion injury, and perioperative surgical workflows.

 

Providence St. Vincent Hospital — Cardiac Surgery Clinical Rounds

Division of Cardiothoracic Surgery | Spring 2026

  • Headline Summary: Shadowed cardiothoracic surgical teams during intensive inpatient rounds, surgical planning conferences, and inpatient cardiovascular ICU care.

  • Key Achievements & Impact:

    • Gained clinical exposure to coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG), surgical valve repair/replacement, and structural heart disease interventions.

    • Participated in morning clinical rounds, reviewing hemodynamic data, post-operative echocardiograms, and patient management plans in the cardiac step-down unit.
